Pastor: Scott Reed

Scott has been pastor of MHBC for 15 years. He has a B.A. degree in Biblical Studies from Andersonville Theological Seminary.  Before coming to Midland Heights he was Sr. Pastor of The Spirit Filled Church and also served on staff at Fair Haven Baptist Church as Associate Pastor in charge of outreach.  Scott Reed is married to his wife Stephanie.  Together they have 3 children, Lynna, Leah, and Logan. Scott loves all sports and is a huge Dallas Cowboy and Vanderbilt Commodore fan.

Associate Pastor: Jeremy Smith

Jeremy has served as the associate pastor at MHBC since 2012, minus a brief period while he lived in Mississippi. While there he served as the associate pastor at Brookside Baptist church in Olive Branch. Jeremy is married to Jennifer and they have three adult children Lauren, Abi, and Spencer. He enjoys all things UT Vols, fishing, golf, and spending time with his grandkids.

Music Minister: Herbert Derickson

Herbert Derickson has been Music Leader at Midland Heights since 2007.  He has a passion for God and a passion for music and putting both together has been a great fit for the music program at Midland Heights. Herbert is married to Jill. He is a devoted family man and loves his four children: Erica, Maria, Thomas and Will. Herbert loves horses, music, playing the drums, working out and playing basketball, and is a huge University of KY fan.
